Fook me today was manic. I would have done AT LEAST $200 commission today.
I found out this morning that I am coming third Finanacial Year to Date in the store. Pretty good for someone that only started in October! I was only $140 behind second place. I DEFINATELY gave him a run for his money today. I was only $100k off doing a million. A full financial year and I would have smashed that!

After work I met my housemate, Sarah, at the local for steak night. It was delish as per usual.
Tomorrow night my old housemate, Ferg, is coming over and we're dining on Thai.

Next two days are day offs - very welcome!
Ikea tomorrow :)

So work was work today.
One of the guys came in "tired" and decided he was too tired to work. We saw at least 5 nightclub stamps on his arms. Like, I know Im no saint when it comes to going to work in an altered state of intoxication - but at least a do a whole day! I NEVER ask to go home early!
By him going home at like, 11am (we start at 10am) I was extremely busy all day - I know Im occasionally the only one rostered on in Hardware, but at those times Im prepared!
Got a nice surprise in my bank accout thanks to work also. When you get a new boss the business name changes, and you essentially get fired by the old company (name) and rehired by the new company (name). Usually in one breath too :P When this happens you get paid out any outstanding holiday leave. I had 60 odd hours so that was nice - straight to savings for my next trip! More about that trip soon ;)

Oh I did two sections of my walls tonite. Well a wall section and one of the four cupboard doors :)

I can smell pot coming from next door. GREAT. Just what I need right now. Its really strong too. They must be just on the otherside of the fence near the shed.
Our hallway smells of piss. I think its from one of the rooms.

Stayed at my dads last night and watched the Australia V France game. Dads neighbour, Bob came over as well.
HAHA My dad has a Seniors Card now! Free coffee at McDonalds for Dad :D

After the game I lay in bed and watched Kung Fu Panda. Not too shabby at all for a cam job. 9/10 video 8/10 audio. I only got about half way through it before I started falling asleep.

Woke up today with NO headache - bizarre! Must know Im going back to work today? Oh wait - Dad says I dont have a headache today cause of the fab meal I was given last night - Ineke made a fish curry! It was really really yummy! :D

Last two days of the financial year. Tomorrow will be manic at work.

Work almost had me beat today - customers are SO RUDE.
Scenario One:
Him: Whats your best laptop?
Me: Hi, (cause thats all he said above) What are you using it for?
Him: Dont care
Me: Ok, Are you looking to play games? Photo and video editing/viewing? Or just general internet/emailing?
Him: Look love, dont try to sell me a laptop! Just show me your best one.
Me: *points* (walks away)

Scenario Two:
*Looking at laptop priced at $1999*
Him: Officeworks will do that for $1888
Me: *looks it up* Cool! I'll do it for $1799
Him: Great, can you write that down?
Me: Whys that? Not looking to buy it today?
Him: Officeworks will beat your price by 5%
Me: Ok... well I'll save you the hassle and take a further 5% off now.
Him: Well then write that price down
Me: Whys that?
Him: Cause they'll beat THAT price by 5%
Me: No.

But on a FANTASTIC note
1) I did my 10th Flexirent today!!! :D FREE WII FOR ME!!
2) I am #76 of 100 for a trip to Japan with Panasonic in October :D
3) It was the bosses wifes last day at work so four of us chicks went out for lunch. MMmm white wine on the job :D

I had such a stressful day today - Im drinking Bundy tonite. All six.
I have the next two days off.

Got home to a PIGSTY of a house.
Lucky copped my pissed-off-ness however I think it has a lot to do with Luke also. Sarah and I are tired of cleaning the citchen at night. Oh and the house smells cause everyone keeps the house all closed up all day. No one opens windows or curtains. Eugh.

Oh I am oh so exhausted!

Anzac Day saw me plant new plants in the garden. That was fun. Waiting for the horrific moment I get home to find Yoda or Zeke have dug it up!
In the arvo, Kev and I travelled up to his mates house and went to Redcliffe way to the beach there and the boys fished while I chatted with Kevs mates missus.
That was a bit trying. She wasnt that chatty. Shes pregnant and has a 5 year olf girl as well. She seemed really surprised that Im 28 and without kids.
While we were there also... she had a cigarette. That was really awkward... but you have to bite your tounge sometimes.
THE BOYS CAUGHT A SHARK! Haha! I was called out from the shore to some and see it. The tide was right out and only ankle deep. VERY cool!
After the beach I went round to Kevs house and FINALLY met his room mate and his mates mum (who they all live with). So that was cool as well :D
But it was great to meet a few of his mates finally... put faces to names :D

OH ALSO on Friday I bought 4x Bledisloe Cup (Australia V New Zealand in the rugby) tickets for the match in September.

Today was a mad crazy day at work. I just hope I came out on top. I sold my ass off!

Thats about it... Im so so exhausted and I think my flu is coming back :(

Oh... last night I woke to Kev blocking my nose :(

Ive been working, working, working.
Its a bit hard finding my feet in Hardware. Im the little fish in the big pond again but I'll be back to full capacity in a week or so :D I have a good roster this month with no long stretches so Im happy with that :)
Stockwake out of the way again now for another 3 months.

My mouth is all good. No swelling left now.
The stitches are a little bit irritating at the moment cause the swelling is all gone, they feel in the way but will desolve over the next week or so.

GREAT news today on the money front!
My oral surgery came in at $1000 cheaper then I budgeted! (Only $1882.75) WHERE the .75c comes from I dont know! Heh. I dont now have a spare $1000, it means I dont have to FIND another $1000 and I can pay all my bill in one go (or two)
Also, cause I got 7 teeth out instead of 8 (therefore less time under general) I got $220 refunded back from the anethatist! Yay!

Last night Kev came over and we went to the local for steak night.
Oh yeah, screw shakes! Im eating! :D Just got to make sure I cut them up small enough. I still cant fang into a sandwich but I am eating solids.
ANYWAYS... So yeah... steak dinner. Mm mmm. I ate more than the fully toothed person! :P
Came back, watched SATC, went to bed, got up went to work. Easy.

I have tomorrow and Thursday off and I have just gotten an email from Kev he's booked a room down the coast so it looks like I'm heading down there tomm morning :D Yay I get away... I need it!

One week till braces :)

Well I fell for an April Fools joke... not a major one... infact Id call it lame!
On grabaseat.co.nz they advertised a competition to win flights and accomadation for two to an island called Tinihanga.
Well I googled Tinihanga after entering: its Maori for deceive or cheat. Hmm.

So today was the last of 9 days in a row at work. Its wrecked me and combined with my stresses and worries about tomorrow it didnt end on an overjoyous note.
I complained to the boss that top salespeople really shouldnt do 9 days straight.

So I think I have eating my fill of shit foods today. From midnight Im not allowed any food. Thats ok. I have to be at the hospital by 6.45am so at least I dont have all day to not eat.

Not a lot else really.
I should go pack my bag for the next few nights and make sure I have everything. I have to be up at 4am but I dont think that'll make me go to bed any earlier :P

So today I had a meeting with the boss.
He did the whole, 'walk-up-to-me-and-tell-me-he-wants-to-have-a-meeting-with-me-at-9:30am' thing. He said it would be over brekkie and a coffee so dont think its anything bad.
Basically he wanted to pick my brains as to why Ive achieved 106% of my target this month already and the closest person is only 60%
It comes down to the fact that I:
:: Stop a conversation mid-sentance with a co-worker to serve a customer
:: Aim to get at least two add-ons with all sales.
:: Ask a customer if they need a hand, and if/when they say no, I leave then with a point about the product they are looking at... 90% of the time they will actually ask a question.
:: Customise the sale
:: Have fun with the customer.

Oh there are so many more points!
In the end of the conversation it is now agreed I will be back in Hardware in April, back to being a Flexirent Top Gun. The best thing about me though is that I sell anywhere the customers are... where the money is... and the Boss is fine with that :)
He then asked me when I plan to leave him again. I told him I am commited to staying in Brisbane now till my teeth are sorted.

Day Two of nine in a row at work. Did ok... Ive reached my target for the month but to get my bonus 2 days off and $100 spiv I need to do it at over 15%... Im at 13.98% so this could be close. Ive done it before though...
Im waiting on my $750 Visa card from Nikon. The Canon rep was in today and Im trying to get him to set a goal so I can get a free IXUS 80 in pink. The camera is HOT!

One of our flatmates is moving out which is lousy.
+ I will get the bigger room with a built in wardrobe :D
- Money.

Its such a lousy time for money, in a week is the start of my dental work (bye bye $6000+) also paying back some of the vet bill. In May is New Zealand holiday.

Yoda is 85% better. The chances of him losing his eye is now slim. However 3 nights at the vet over the weekend cost $950! Sheesus they know where to get ya!

Im quite tired feeling, Im getting round two of the Arabian Flu sweeping work. I changed clothes to take Zeke for a walk but got all lethargic. Tomorrow night I will be walking home, Thursday as well.

My biggest decision now... Tony Ferguson, Betty Baxter or Celebrity Slim shakes after teeth come out?

So a lots been happening and not a lot at the same time.

Went to the Rugby last night to see a warm-up match of the Qld Reds V Auckland Blues. Auckland scored in the last 30secs and managed to win the game from that. There were SO MANY good looking fellas at the game! Mmm mmm. I went with Cameron (brother) and his mate Matt and Matts girlfriend, Cherie.
We got our supporters packs which had calenders, shirts and vouchers for programs each game. I also bought a Reds cap and lanyards for my members cards. The chicks merchandise is pretty awesome so I'll probably buy a polo next game (15th Feb)

I did come first for the month in BOTH turn over AND profit. I rock! Sacha keeps asking me questions and making statements that he has a feeling Im leaving him again. Ive told him I have no plans to leave him again until the end of the year or he moves on... which ever happens first.

I made my orthodontic and wisdom tooth appointments for Wednesday, only to discover that Im working Wednesday. So I had to reschedual! Uh-ohhh! So now my ortho appointment is for the 15th Feb... and get this... my wisdoms tooth one... 25th March!! thats AGES away! Sheesh!

This evening I booked my next holiday. 17th - 27th May in New Zealand. I have several friends over there now including Nana Shirley so I can try to see them all! $420 return... not too shabby. I figured that since I am committing to my wisdoms... and while I have this money now... I may as well book something so I definately do it. Now I have an ultimate goal time to lose weight!

Oh speaking of that... 4kgs in 3 weeks. Weigh in on Tuesday at work... that'll be the 4 week mark. I've managed not to take any pain killers today at all for my knees... they're feeling a stack better :)
Tomorrow night though there is the threat it can all come undone. We're being taken out for dinner by a supplier and there is a $2000 tab (food and alcohol). We've all picked out courses during the week and we've all gone hard on the food! Im getting a dozen oysters for entree and braised lamb shanks as a main. Im drooling already at the thought of it!

I really am enjoying my walk homes.
I especially like weekend ones cause its still so sunny and hot... I got quite a tan today!
Nikki, Chris and Cobey passed me at Milton on their bikes. I walked another 20min or so to Towong and caught the bus to Indooropilly/Kenmore - to only see Nikki, Chris and Cobes again!
Then I walked another 20min or so home and they beat me by only 10min all up! Ha!

Work all this week.
Saturday night coming Logitech is taking us out to dinner. The Tab is quite hefty. and we've all gone to town on the menu! Ive ordered a dozen oysters kilpatrick for entree, braised lamb shanks for mains and a trio of dips for the sides. Can't wait! Ive been really careful with my eating all week so far so I'll deserve it!

What else?
I should get my perfumes tomorrow. Oh and my Qld Reds Rugby membership!

I am totally tired from work... but securing my place as number one for the second month running totally makes up for it.

I had a few positives today though.
+ Rugby season passes finally got deducted from my account today
+ I got my Irish tax today
+ I got Fantasy Solid Perfume compact today
+ Ordered 5 new perfumes from www.perfume.com.au using a gift voucher.
+ GOT MY LAPTOP BACK

Story about my laptop though. Its been back TWO days but the tech guy at work thought it would be funny to not tell me. Literally. Thats what he said. Funny. Wanker.
Im suspecting he's the one hiding my workshirts in bags and boxes and ontop of shelves in the staffroom.
Im learning not to retaliate to them... just fix/get my stuff and move on... otherwise they keep doing it.

I didnt walk home tonite. Mainly cause my bag was so heavy and also I didnt get time to take any pain killers before I finished work so my knees were in pure agony.
I met my brotherin-law, Chris, at the bottleshop where I bought a carton of Dark & Stormy tinnies for Saturday. :D

I have two days off now. I need a major sleep-in tomorrow :(

Im tired.

I just bought 5 different perfumes from perfume.com.au with my flexichips.

Im going to bed.

I might come first again in January at work :)

So only two kgs over the fortnight.
I know thats the healthy way to do it but I was expecting more. Oh well... Better luck next fortnight.
Everyone lost between 1-3kgs... one guy even lost 7kgs! But he is 144kg to start with.

My knees felt better on the way home... I took a couple of Ibuprofens at 5ish pm and they'd kicked in by 5.45 so I was floating!
I still had to remember to take it slower. Make my knees better.
Its really dejecting though when at 6.15pm Im still a whole suburb from where I should be on Coro Drive. The Toowong ferry looks so far away... and I just want to race people but I have to make the concious effort not to.
Its surprising how dissapointed I am that I cant excercise properly and its only been a fortnight!

Seems I might look into braces still in Australia.
I have a good good customer who is a cosmetic dentist (veneers etc) who has refered me to a few specialists and mates in the field. Just by mentioning his name will sort me out a fair bit. Im going to look into it. Even to just get my wisdoms out soon. Infact, talluleh, Clive is an old colledge buddy of Roland Hammond and thats who he has recommended!

Well Im all fine.

Well not entirely... Ive damaged my knees trying ("trying") to jog certain parts along Coro Drive. As a result... my knees now feel constantly sprained and walking faster then a dawdle is agony :( woe is me.

Today I served Michael Voss at work (ex Brisbane Lions captain). He is savage hot and very buff and very good looking. Mmm mmmm.

Official weigh in tomorrow for our work Biggest Loser competition. Im betting Ive done better than half of them :)

I am so insanely jealous of a girl at work...
She's been working there the entire time I have (6 years).
Today she tells me she's putting in her leave and moving to a remote aboriginal community in the Northern Territory.
She'll be working in a school teaching aboriginal kids english. She'll be volunteering in a national park.
She'll have no access to luxuries or needs and wants.

How good is that?!
Oh she hasnt told anyone else yet... I was the first to know.

A brief run down of my last fwe days...

Saturday: Worked
Saturday Night: Went to Deanies and shared a entire bottle of vodka with her. Many laughs... good times :D Corinne ducked round too for only a short stay late in the night.
Sunday: Worked
Sunday night: Street Christmas party. Many nice foods to eat since everyone needed to bring a plate. Kinda boring as there are a lot of old people in the street. That or families with toddlers.
Monday: Worked
Tuesday: Worked. Copped rudeness... Still number one for the month :D

I had a customer walk off on me today. He had out 7 different cameras from $99 to $699 and wanted to know why he should get each one. After I explained the differences, then I asked exactly what he might be looking for. So he told me "Thats what you're here for" - So I suggested the $699 one and he asked why... so *again* I tell him about the face detection, optical image stabiliser, extra zoom blah blah... To which he goes "I dont need any of that shit". So I go to the one about $279... go through the same thing of features... he told me again "Useless camera". So I said... "Right... tell me a price, tell me a colour... and I'll sort it out" (I hate different colours!!). So he goes "Fuck you... I dont need to be spoken to like that... " and he walked off. I just shrugged and said no problem... and put the cameras away... he was so shitty I didnt care :P
His mate with him apologised... and I go... "tell him to lighten up - take him to the pub and give him a cuddle"
I dont care... the next customer pointed to a camera and literally said "I'll take that" Outways the bad.

The stupidity of my co-workers never ceases to amaze me...

Her: WOW! His birthday is on the 22nd... He's turning 22 on the 22nd!
Me: Yeah? (More like 'so?')
Her: Well... 22 on the 22nd! Do you get it?! He's pretty lucky! That doesnt happen often!!
Me: Well... Yeah... I can guearantee it will happen to EVERYone before they turn 31.
Her: Really?
Me: Yup *nods head slowly and leaves the lunch room*

Hi hi... Capped internet again... at least its only for today!
But I tell ya! Im missing my Greys, Private Practice and The Hills like you wouldnt believe!
Ive been getting back into Heroes. I hadnt watched it in several weeks and kinda lost touch in it. But Ive been converting them to iPod and catching up on them on the way to and from work. I just finished s02e08 so only 2 more to go I think. I deliberately missed the finale on Channel 7 last night.

Not a lot has happened this week. Work is work. No play. Nothing exciting.

Actually work is good. I was the super star for November. I achieved over 170% of my target. Naturally now my % of the store has increased (From 5% to 8%) but I plan to smash that as well. As a bonus I get 1% of store profit. Nice work me! :D

Wednesday I had a day off and Nikki and I went to Paradise Point down Hope Island way. Its the same place I went to with Aunty Sandra a few weeks ago.
We had a nice little paddle with Cobey. Im such a bad Aunty... he face planted it several times in the water when I was meant to be supervising him! Hehehe.
Lunch was a fairly decent portion of calamari and chips each. We were home for about 3pm or so I think.

The other week Nikki and I bought some of those new Baygon window sticker fly poisons.
We put them in strategic places around the kitchen and living area, as well as one on my bedroom window.
The point of them is that the flys will be attracted to them... lick the bait... and fly away and die.
What a crock! I never ever saw a single fly land on them ever.
So what do I do? I do what my dad would do! I sent an email to the company :D
Basically I explained how dissapointed I was in the product and at paying $10 (for the four stickers) for something that clearly does not work. I went on to say that possibly they could send me some samples of their products so I dont go on to waste more money on their brand. I also mention that Im going to consider changing to their competitions products. Heh... I added more bullshit as well.
So ANYWAY... Yesterday I get home from work and there is an envelope from S.C. JOhnson and inside is two packs of their new Fly Cubes. This things are AWESOME!
Seriously there are about 7 or so dead flies around the things at the moment... and several more dying as I type!
Im going to email them AGAIN to tell them how great they are! I'd make my daddy proud I tell ya!

Today I am doing some work training manuals online. Im on 67% completion and I need to be over 85% to get my $100odd owing to me in SPIVs this month.
Im also going to go up to Indro and get a fringe cut... its non existant at the moment! I'll also buy dinner foods - I think tacos tonite? Roo tacos?

Last night I installed Office 2007. I like it. I dont think it was slowed my machine any. I'm going to get another 512mb of ram in my lappy soon anyways.

Thats about it I think... time for another modual or two :)
